Hore Abbey, Cashel, Co Tipperary - Munster's Wild Landscape
One of many heritage sites around Cashel, once the seat of the High Kings of Munster. Hore Abbey was founded in the 12th Century by the Benedictine Order, but was managed by the Cistercians from the 13th Century until the Dissolution of the Monasteries in the 16th Century.
